We believe in privacy and do not sell our mailing list or share our information with large-scale tracking networks. The information we collect about you is either information you directly give us, or information we learn through your use of our software and services, and we are cautious regarding when, why, and with whom we share that information.

FreebeeCards is headquartered in Lone Tree, Colorado but please note that your information may be stored and processed on servers throughout the United States and Canada. Your information will not be used or disclosed in violation of applicable law.
Users under the Age of Thirteen
FreebeeCards is not intended for use by people under the age of thirteen, and we do not purposely collect information from such users. If we become aware that you are under the age of thirteen, we will terminate your FreebeeCards account and permanently delete your information from our databases and servers.
Information Collected by FreebeeCards
We collect information in two primary ways:
Information You Provide To Us Directly. In order to use our Services, we require that you sign up for a FreebeeCards Account. When you create your FreebeeCards Account, we will require certain information, including your name, date of birth, mobile phone number, email address, and zip code. We obtain this information from you so that we can use it to identify you in our databases and contact you should the need to do so arise.
Information We Obtain Based On Your Use Of Our Services. As you use the Site and our Services, we will gather information about the range of services that interest you, the services you actually use, and how you ultimately use them. This information may include:
Device and location information. We may collect information relating to any device you use to access the Site or Services (each a “Device” and collectively the “Devices”). Information we may collect about your Devices includes the model, the hardware installed, the operating system version, internet connectivity and mobile network information, and other unique identifiers of your Devices. If your Device is location-enabled, we may acquire and process information about your actual location that will allow us to tailor our Services to your location and geography-specific needs.
Usage information. We automatically collect and store certain information when you use our services, either in our databases or in server logs. This information includes:
Details regarding your use of our Services.
The nature of Merchants and promotions you utilize.
Which offers you have reserved and/or redeemed.
Your location when you access our Services.
Information regarding who referred you to us and who you might have referred to us.
Mobile Device related information.
Internet Protocol address.
Information regarding Device crashes or malfunctions, operating system activity, hardware and web browser settings, and referring uniform resource locator.
Details obtained from cookies, web beacons, and other similar tools that may distinctively identify your web browser or your FreebeeCards Account.
Application installation. When you install or upgrade the Software, or when you use the Software in conjunction with other software installed on your Devices, we may learn which versions of our software or other software you use.
Device storage. We may store information on your Devices using mechanisms such as browser cookies or application storage.
Cookies, web beacons, and anonymous identifiers. We use various techniques to amass information when you visit the Site, including sending cookies or other identifiers to your Devices.
Cookies can be either temporary or persistent. Persistent cookies are small bits of information we send to your Devices that store information about your account and preferences when using our Services—they remain on your Device until you delete them. Temporary cookies operate in the same manner, but they are typically deleted by your Device automatically when you exit your session.
Web beacons are small and/or transparent images included on website pages or in emails that allow us to determine whether you perform certain tasks or actions. Web beacons are a tool for us to gauge the effectiveness of our communications with you.
Information from Third Party Sources. We may receive information about you and your use of our Services from other websites, from companies that are affiliates of ours, or other third parties. Such information may be associated with your Account.
Profile Information and Content. If you create a profile or post Content to the Site, such information will be available to, and may be used by, anyone accessing the Site. Accordingly, we recommend that you use caution when creating a profile or posting Content to the Site.
Electronic Communications. If you email us or send us other electronic communications, we may collect and store your email address or mobile phone number, the content of your message, the attached files, or any other transmitted information. We may use your name and email address when we send emails or other electronic communications to other users at your request, including when you assign a reserved virtual promotional card to another user or invite a non-user to join FreebeeCards through our referral service. If you opt-in to receiving such communications, we may also allow other FreebeeCards users to contact you through the Site. Unless you opt-out of receiving such communications, we may also contact you electronically with relevant information about our Services, including upcoming improvements or changes.
How Collected Information is Used
The information we collect from you and your use our Services allows us to continually improve the Services, develop new Services, and, ultimately, tailor our Services to best suit your needs and the needs of other FreebeeCards users. In addition, the information and ideas you submit in your communications with us allows us the ability to solve problems that you and other FreebeeCards users might be experiencing.
We use information collected from cookies, anonymous identifiers, and other technologies to improve your FreebeeCards experience and the overall quality of our Services. For instance, by saving your language preferences, we are able to ensure that the Site content appears in your preferred language. Please note that we will not implement cookies, anonymous identifiers, and other technologies in an effort to specifically identify sensitive categories of information, like race, religion, or sexual orientation.
Our services distinguish between personally identifiable information, anonymized information, and aggregated information. Personally identifiable information is information which can be used to identify you specifically, whether by name, email address, or any other identifier. The fact that email@example.com visited Joe's Crab Shack and redeemed a $10 FreebeeCard would be personally identifiable information and subject to the highest level of protection. Anonymized information is specific information, but with personal identifiers removed. The fact that someone visited Joe's Crab Shack and redeemed a $10 FreebeeCard, but not specifically who it was, would be anonymized information. We consider your birthdate, but not your age, to be personally identifiable information. Anonymized information is subject to a medium level of protection. Finally, aggregated information consists of statistical or demographic information about a large number of users. For example, if 30% of the visitors to Joe's Crab Shack were men between the ages of 18 and 35, this would be aggregated information. Aggregated information has a reduced level of protection.
We think you receive a more personalized FreebeeCards when we know information about you and the kinds of promotions you desire. However, you can limit the information you provide to us, and you can limit the communications that we send to you.
Prior to receiving any promotional or marketing messages from us, and at any time thereafter, you will have the option to:
Choose to subscribe or unsubscribe to promotional or marketing communications and messages from us. (Please note that even if you unsubscribe from promotional communications and messages, we may still need to contact you with important transaction-related information in connection with your Account and virtual promotional card reservations.)
Opt-out or unsubscribe from promotional offers sent to you by Merchants or our other business affiliates if you do not wish to receive such promotional offers in the future.

Review and update your profile information that appears on the Site.
Manage how your browser handles cookies, anonymous identifiers, and other technologies by adjusting your browser’s privacy and security settings. Browsers differ significantly so you should refer to your browser’s instructions to learn about its cookie-related and other privacy and security settings. (Please note that, in the event you block or disable cookies or anonymous identifiers, the Site and our Services may not function optimally.)
Manage how your Devices share location information with FreebeeCards, as well as how your Device’s browser handles cookies and anonymous identifiers by adjusting your Device’s privacy and security settings. Devices differ significantly so you should refer to your Device’s instructions to learn about its location-related and other privacy and security settings.
Information you share
Our Services allow you to share information with others, including via Twitter or Facebook. When you share information publicly it may be indexable by search engines and viewable by any Internet user.

Our Services also allow you to communicate with Merchants through our Feedback feature. This information will be shared with that Merchant and, potentially, with other Merchants that they are affiliated with (for example, different franchises of the same restaurant).
Accessing and updating your information
We aim to provide you with continuing access to the information you submit to us. If such information is incomplete or inaccurate, we make an effort to ensure you have the ability to update it, unless we have a legitimate business or legal justification to disallow such update or to retain such information. Please note that, even if you terminate your Account, we may keep records of your Account as we deem appropriate for legitimate business or legal purposes.
When you attempt to update your Account information, we may ask that you verify your identity before fulfilling your request. Most of your information can be changed or updated through an area of the Site. Alternatively, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to make modifications or requests with respect to your Account. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse or reject any such requests that we deem unreasonable, unnecessary, or impractical.
In light of our efforts to protect your information from inadvertent or malicious destruction, subsequent to your deletion of information from your Account or Profile, we may not immediately delete remaining copies from our servers and may not remove information from our backup systems. We may preserve and use information given to us as we deem necessary to comply with applicable law, enforce our agreements, and resolve any disputes that may arise.
Information we share
We will not disclose your personally identifiable information to third parties except to:
Merchants, but only to the extent you have actually visited or purchased from the Merchant, or participated in an offer, contest, or other activity sponsored or offered by us on behalf of the Merchant. We will not share your personally identifiable information with Merchants that you do not otherwise have a business relationship with.
Our business partners or advertisers, but only to the extent you have elected to participate in an offer, contest, or other activity that is provided by, or in conjunction with, us. We will not “sell your information” to third-party marketers.
Effect a merger, divestiture, or otherwise support the sale or transfer of assets. If we are a party in any of the aforementioned transactions, we will notify you via email or prominent notice on the Site to make you aware of any change in the ownership or use of your information, as well as any options you may have regarding your information.
Enforce and protect our rights and property or protect the rights, property, or safety of FreebeeCards users or third parties.
Respond to government requests or as needed to support auditing, compliance, and corporate governance functions.
Defend ourselves in regulatory actions or litigation as required by applicable law or when advised to do so by our legal counsel.

Prospective Merchants and their agents
We may publicly disclose aggregated information about our users and our Services. Such information will demonstrate trends regarding the general use of our Services.
We strive to diligently safeguard our business information and the personal information of our users from any unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. In this regard, we implement the following measures:
We encrypt sensitive or personally identifiable information in transit over the Internet using Secure Sockets Layer or Transport Layer Security.
We periodically review our information collection, storage, and processing practices.
We closely guard access to our database keys, ensure that our systems are monitored for security weaknesses, and review our software for common security flaws.
If we ask for, and you provide us with, credit card information, we store and handle that information in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. We conduct periodic reviews to ensure that our software and equipment is either not subject to PCI-DSS, or is in compliance with those standards.
We restrict access to personal information to FreebeeCards representatives and agents on a need-to-know basis. In addition, FreebeeCards representatives and agents are subject to strict confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to abide by such obligations.
California Privacy Rights
Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, California residents have the right to request from a business, with which the California resident has an established business relationship, certain information with respect to the types of personal information the business shared with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. In particular, the law provides that businesses must inform consumers about the categories of personal information that have been shared with third parties, the names and addresses of those third parties, and examples of the types of services or products marketed by those third parties.
